I just can't get Object Detection Zones to work

I have a simple two-zone area where I'd like to trigger an alert when an object goes from the outside zone A to the inside B. I have this set for A>B and it will not trigger. Any thoughts? Thanks

Make the inner zone smaller so there is more room to detect the change

The zone above green needs to be bigger to detect objects going from it to the green.
