These alerts have been bombarding me lately. Can anyone point out to me what I need to fix? Thanks.

You are trying to send a push alert to a phone that isn't registered.

So either you need to reinstall the paid BI app on your phone (if you bought the $10 app), or turn off the push alerts in BI.

+1^^.
In addition, what does your clip allocation to the drives look like under "Blue Iris Status" => "Clip Storage"? Any thing red in color?
Yes, I did have red. I have since deleted a lot in my stored folder and all red has gone away. I guess I need to work on allocating better. For a 4TB HDD, what is the most you want to do on new, stored and alerts? I am going to be adding another 4TB HDD and a 2TB HDD. The 4TB is going to be for stored and the 2TB will be for alerts. Probably overkill, but they are good HDD's just sitting around getting bored and doing nothing.

Yes, I did pay for it. I'll have to do some checking. I actually turned the notifications off on my phone. That may be the issue.

You want to save about 10% of the total drive capacity to allow for room for it to write and delete at the same time as it gets full.

Yeah, check to see if you somehow deleted the phone in BI as well.

Where would I look for the phone? Not sure about that one?

If I have a 4TB HDD, how much would you do for New, Stored, Alerts? I had 1500, 1500, 80. Is that too much?

Under the gear icon top left, select that and then one of the tabs is mobile device so make sure your phone is there.

No reason to waste CPU and kill the HDD with stored. Most of us just keep it all in New. BI is efficient and knows where the files are, so moving them is just overhead the system doesn't need. For a 4TB HDD, I would keep at least 400 free. I would probably go New 3400 and Alerts 10. Alerts do not need to be that large unless you are saving hi-rez alerts to it.

My Standard allocation post.

1) Do not use time (limit clip age)to determine when BI video files are moved or deleted, only use space. Using time wastes disk space.
2) If New and stored are on the same disk drive do not used stored, set the stored size to zero, set the new folder to delete, not move. All it does is waste CPU time and increase the number of disk writes. You can leave the stored folder on the drive just do not use it.
3) Never allocate over 90% of the total disk drive to BI.
4) if using continuous recording on the BI camera settings, record tab, set the combine and cut video to 1 hour or 3 GB. Really big files are difficult to use/transfer .
5) it is recommend to NOT store video on an SSD (the C: drive).
6) Do not run the disk defragmenter on the video storage disk drives.
7) Do not run virus scanners on BI folders
8) an alternate way to allocate space on multiple drives is to assign different cameras to different drives, so there is no file movement between new and stored.
9) Never use an External USB drive for the NEW folder. Never use a network drive for the NEW folder.
10) for performance do not put more than about 10,000 files in a folder, the search and adding files will eat CPU and disk performance. Look at using a sub folder per camera (see &CAM in bi help)

Advanced storage:
If you are using a complete disk for large video file storage (BVR) continuous recording, I recommend formatting the disk, with a windows cluster size of 1024K (1 Megabyte). This is a increase from the 4K default. This will reduce the physical number of disk write, decrease the disk fragmentation, speed up access.
Hint:
On the Blue iris status (lighting bolt graph) clip storage tab, if there is any red on the bars you have a allocation problem. If there is no Green, you have no free space, this is bad.

I just noticed when changing my settings that a box that said record no signal and inactive frames is checked. Is that necessary? Just curious why I had that checked. Thanks.
