I have been tweaking my settings to get the best night time visibility but I seem to be missing the mark as I keep having random issues once I get something that looks good at night.

Would folks mind sharing their settings, what works for them? What settings seem to have the biggest influence?

I'd like to just take your settings and apply them to my cameras and see what works.

I have the turret hikvision 4MP mostly, some 3MP.

You can tweak those cameras until the cows come home but IMO the best way to improve the night vision of those Hikvision cameras is by adding some light to each camera's field of view. LED floodlights on a sensor is one method; IR lights on a sensor is another.

I use a stock Home Depot double spotlight with integrated sensors and two (2) 90 watt (equivalent) exterior rated LED spotlights I picked up at Costco. Not certain how many lumens each spotlight claims to be though.

Without posting screenshots then it's hard for us to help you tweak the software settings. More light is always preferable.
