It got a new GUI interface. Alarm manager completely changed so I am not sure how to set it up now since it seem to only offer motion detect. If anyone learn how to set up IVS, please share on here how it done.

The preview seem to load quicker now with the latest NVR firmware and you can now disable all unused channels so it doesn't use resource trying to load those empty channel in the viewer. Hardware acceleration supported.

I haven't dug in deep yet but share anything you may have discovered with this new iDMSS interface ...

I found the IVS alarm management, it under “Message” tab on the bottom of the app
 
I love the NEW version. Seems to run faster.

The alarm thing was a bit strange to figure out. They need to change the naming scheme. Alarm for physical alarm from camera. Then either change the alarm msg notification to either "Push Notification Alert" or something.
 
The un-used channel was already working. You just set-up favorites...and if you have 9 windows view, and 3 cameras, the 6 windows would not "Spin". This feature exists in Amcrest View Pro and iDMSS a while back. Is this what you are referring to?

I have been playing with the app a bit over cellular data. It does appear to pull feeds and load cameras significantly faster (I've got 12 running) on an old iPhone 6S.
 
hmmmmm downloaded it an hour ago and doesnt work on my iPhone
 
OK I rebooted the iphone and its working..sort of

- Every time I open the app its still a crapshoot how many cams it will open, sometimes 3 of 4, sometimes none.
- Playback on motion events isnt right
- Where the hell do you set push alerts?

I haven't gotten push to work for a long time. No change even now. I could be home and get push notifications in the past. Now nothing.
 
Still half baked.
 
I'm glad Dahua is starting to invest a bit more in their apps.

I used to have a lot of problems with push. The way the push notification works now is that the NVR or camera will send a tcp packet to apple's APN push server. You can run a packet tracer by setting the gateway of the NVR to your listening device. Dance around the camera, and see if the NVR is generating a push to apple's server. You should see it. You may want to reboot the NVR first, because the NVR will fetch DNS for apple's push server, then hard code the IP to their code. The next time it pushes, it pushes by IP and you will see the seq, ack, traffic to apple.

If you don't see the traffic, then something is not set up right between the phone/pc and the nvr. If you do see the traffic, then the next issue is if the traffic is exiting your router to apple's server.

Updated and now playback starts my main HD stream, then after a few seconds, starts the same video clip over on a LQ substream, pretty annoying.
 
Try playback over a period of time checking just Motion Events.

Used to skip from one event to the next. Now it goes to the first event, but then plays continuous instead of skipping to the next event.
 
That does work, but it only plays the HQ version. In the older version I would get a Push Notification, I would click it, and the app would open and then play the LQ version of the saved clip. Worked well over cellular. Might have to down grade. Thank you for the reply!
 
oh wow that sensor tab is back in the newest version.nice it kind of looks like app notify is back:wow::love:
