Great that looks good for me as I should be getting a similar camera in a few days. Is that the newest firmware?I just received a IPC-T5442TM-AS from Andy yesterday with V2.800.0000000.8.R, Build Date: 2019-09-02 firmware, and no triangle.

I disagree that it's not a big deal. It's a DOA camera that brings with it all the hassles of receiving something that's defective. In this situation, there's a remedy that doesn't require shipping it back, but still eats up a bunch of time. In my case it's looking like a couple of hours total to discover the problem, find out what to do about it (saved by the forum on this), and actually do it. Using the chinese language config tool slows the process down. I'm currently sitting on a brick waiting for the return file from Andy. I'm not wanting to dump on Andy. He's built up the equivalent of "political capital" with me and others, and has earned a lot of slack. Something in the process went awry and the customer bears the consequences.. It is a big deal to me to have a brand new unusable camera for what's looking like a at least 2 weeks, with the associated lost time and hassles.

Sorry if I misled, it's only IVS doesn't work. The 5442 is a brick for me because I'm not installing it outside until IVS is working. I'm replacing an existing camera and losing IVS is a downgrade. If you can fix in 20 minutes, your ability far exceeds mine. I spent more than that just searching out the solution on the forum, which you kindly pointed me to. I wasn't able to download the config tool with the link Andy posted. The wiki said I had to have an account, but it wouldn't let me download even after that. I finally found a different path to download the file. This could very well be a browser issue on my end, but even if it is, it's time spent that shouldn't have needed to be spent. I wish "stuff" didn't have to happen. UPS lost a package going to me last week. I'm on a roll.Your camera doesn’t work at all? I’ve not heard of that. Only IVS not working
It takes probably 20 minutes to fix, but I understand your concern
I could not get this web address to work, but found the missing partsI found an official dahua website for downloading new firmware version, btw. including the version from September.
