Hi, I have the next DVR, with its specs:
DVR Hikvision DS-7204HQHI-F1/N
Firmware V3.4.81 build 170227
Enconding version V5.0 build 170220
Web version V4.0.1 build 170118
the problem is that intrusion detection does not works well, I've detected many issues. I have tryed setting it up from web interface, IVMS4200 and in the DVR directly connected to the TV and can't get it to work fine.
Issues:
1-No matter how much "Percentage" I choose, the VCA events triggers. Example, i have a 9m2 (96 sq feet) and percentage is set to 90% (I use it for car parking detection). Despite this, I get the event triggered with a cat, or even a bird walking around the area (i swear cats and birds here in Argentina are not pterodactyls or tigers).
2-In Threshold settings I am not able to choose more than 2 seconds, while in manual says you can choose from 0 to 10. This is either via web interface, directly through the DVR or using the IVMS4200.
3- Independent from the Sensitivity, they trigger anyway.
I am getting full of false alarms. I know this is not the best method for surveillance, but I would like to know if someone has the same configuration issues. why the heck these parameters exists if they are not going to work?
