IPC-HDW5442T-ZE New cam from Dahua :)

The clarity at full zoom is pretty impressive. I know these cost more than their fixed lense sisters but I'd still consider using all varifocal for my install just for the flexibility.
Yes very good cam ; here max bitrate is 12000 Kbs in VBR mode, the exposure is a bit too fast but i would like to read licence plate.

The problem here is that I have a lot of tree and it absorbs the light of the infrared light , I will change the location.

Night settings here Shutter priority 0 - 10 ms (1/100).
distance between me and the cam about 8 meters.

too much noise in the image because of the significant gain because the infrared is disturbed by the trees

Yes but in color there is motion blur :)

BICK

I think wildcat cat found that blur was almost non existent at 1/60 when walking or slow moving car. .

IPC-HDW5442T-ZE VS IPC-HDW5442TM-AS 6mm fixed lens

The varifocal looks nicer, but FOV seems different or wa sit also dialed in at 6?

I did not catch the time of day difference. I had just assumed they were side by side or something.

Looks good Bick! No washout from IR....
Do you think the manual 0-10 exposure helped?
