I think "Auto" is allowing the camera to adjust gain and other settings to compensate for the scene change. In this case, it senses a change in light as the truck passes blocking some of the light
Also during daylight, 3DNR is too high. Try 25

6144 should be enough not knowing the camera model. I like to run mine high. 8192 for 2MP and 10-12MB for 4MP cams but plenty of folks run 4-6MB

I’d play with exposure and DNR and see which is having the most affect.

One more note about exposure. Try a range, 0-4 or so. This allows the exposure to change to compensate for say dark rainy days better than a fixed exposure.

I have a budget model - IPC 2431T, so I don't have the same settings, this what I have now:

Hmmmm Yeah I don’t like that. Try raising your bitrate to 8192 or even 10240
Gain 0-50
DNR 30
Exposure 0-8.33
Gain 0-50

I do have similar experience with cars going in and out of heavy shadow areas. Especially with a 2MP camera with a smaller sensor and your 2431 has a similar sensor
If that doesnt help, may try playing with 2x or greater Iframe. While not what we all preach, it can have a positive effect.

After the Iframe change, view the main stream using VLC started to be choopy (using cable connection).
Also, the recorded video has missing parts, I mean, I see a car appearing in the middle of the street.
Reverted the Iframe settings,I will stop tuning this, not worth the effort, probably this is what this IPC is capable of.

If that cam has it, try H264B or H264H instead.
Disable the tripwires and see if that helps, sometimes more than two IVS rules overwhelms the cameras cpu.
Do you see this same problem in the cameras direct live view or only in Blue Iris?
As an aside, turn off the Audio Noise filter, and the audio will improve.
