So we have Off, Auto and Manual IR setting... just not Smart IR? Is this firmware for security updates, new features or both? How is it different from V2.840.15OG008.0.R, Build Date: 2022-02-18? Thanks Andy!

Can refer to the our amazon shop for camera details.

I have a new 5442TM-as. Cannot get the FW file to install. I am using IE, I did install this FW to 4 other 5224's several months ago with no problem. All I get is the progress bar, and it says downloading file. And it never changes. Thoughts?

Have you rebooted the camera prior to the install?
Have you set the cam back to factory defaults prior to updating firmware?

Sounds browser related. Close browser. Uninstall webrec folder in programfilesx86 and programfiles if located there too.

Rebrowse to camera. Install plugin on live view screen.

Try update.

I would try chrome if IE does not work.

Also what firmware build date is it currently on?

Current FW is 2020-12-03
Yes, I rebooted the camera, Factory defaulted it, and turned off recording (i got that warning a while ago)

I did delete that directory in both places

Still won't load
This is one of the refurbs from Andy

It appears you are accessing that camera through the NVR based on the port at the end of the IP address, correct?
Have you tried updating directly through the cams interface.
Have you tried resetting to defaults 3 times in a row?
Just a shot in the dark.

I logged into the DVR, then hit the IE icon, and then logged into the cam

Try logging in to the NVR in “InPrivate” with Internet Explorer. Then the camera as stated.

Open IE, Ctrl-Shift-P, then log into NVR
control-shift-P openned my printer
