Hello

I have here some uniview ipc3614sr3 dpf36 dome camera's. these are not new . I want to connect this to my network but he did not take a ip adress.
Now i was looking to factory reset the cam but i can not find any button.
Can anybody help me with the right steps to reset the cam.

Dear Dirk,
This is a normal issue. The fact that the cameras are not new means they already have a static IP from the system they were installed before you get them in
your hands. Connect the cameras to your network and use UNVs EZtools software to set them up on your ip Pool.

How do you do a factory reset when the admin password is not known?

I just bought some WGCC (Uniview rebrand) cameras, unused, where the seller didn't know the password. No reset button, so I had to resort to hooking up to the serial console and using the cracked root password to apply the defaults.

Officially if the user name and password are unknown cameras cannot be accessed. Unofficially there are many ways :) all you need is the right tool and YouTube...

I notice that in the config_a.xml file there are references to Password20 with some characters. But I've not looked to see where they are referenced.
