Is 60 feet to far?

Hello, I'm currently having an issue where I can't see my camera on my network, with or without power camera power brick supplied. The cable distance is 60 feet and there's no electrical interference, it's on the floor for testing right now. I've tried making 2 different 60 foot cable lengths and terminated multiple times with the same results.

Interestingly, when I took a 4 foot piece out of one of those 2 cables the camera posts fine to it's default IP and without the camera power brick. I've also noticed that the data transfer lights on the PoE is on almost constantly on the long cable lengths versus intermittent lights with the working shorter cable.

Any pointers/suggestions would be greatly appropriated! Thank you.

yes, you cannot simply match colors...they are specifically twisted to prevent interference...that is 100 percent your issue.

Attached is a resulting night snapshot via BI. This is my first camera install and I can say I love it, I just hope my server can handled the future load I have in mind for it now. Thanks again for the help and this forum (I've been lurking for a while), it has 100% helped me on getting started.

I am surprised with all those lights outside that it haven't kick back into day mode with color. My 5231 would.
