if you are going to buy the app anyways, just do it...its 10 dollars...youll survive...using blue iris without the app is like putting snow tires on ferrari in the summer.

If you can connect to Blue Iris's web interface then you can connect with the mobile apps, by entering the same address. Nothing else is required.

Yep, it was pretty easy for sure. 30 seconds and I was on. This is a pretty nice app for sure. I would have gladly paid $10 instead of $9.99
