Not sure if this is going to help, but here it is.
Had similar experience whit my HDW5231R-ZR. On the Blue Iris, it seems to keep losing or dropping the signal (yellow box highlighting the screen). Had just transferred the camera to a new location. Never had issues with this camera before. Could not figure it out. Thought maybe the Cat5 cable.
Then I remember reading something about a problem with the camera when the lens is fully zoom out. Ended up backing up the zoom a bit, then the issue stops. No more lost signal.
Give it a try, might work. Work for me. Can’t explain why, just does.
