Issues setting IP address

Hi All,

Looking to setup an Imago IDN-31P1 NB 2.8 (hikvision) via the iVMS-4200 tool.

The camera defaults to IP address 192.0.0.64 and my DHCP network is 192.168.1.x. Using the software tool it finds the camera online at 192.0.0.64, however when I goto change the IP address via the Modify NetInfo button, the operations fails (failed to modify)

Camera is powered by POE and connected into my router (DHCP range 192.168.1.x) and iVMS-4200 is running on a PC connected to my router

I am unable to change the IP of the camera, however when I goto the 'Management' section of the tool, I can add an entry with my 192.168.1.x range.

Looking through the forums, some users say the default IP shipped might have changed also - however too shows device is 192.0.0.64

Any ideas??

Is this a Hikvision OEM camera model?
For Hikvision IP cameras and NVRs, the Hikvision tool SADP works very well to find the device and change the basic IP configuration.
If you are lucky it may also work with your camera - worth trying.

Thanks Alastair - That software worked first time. Now have the IP Camera running under DHCP
