Hi guys, I just wanted to find out, are there much better alternatives to iVMS4200 and iVMS4500 possibly?
Or is Hikvision planning a serious overhaul anytime soon and launch some updates hopefully?
Is it me, or does iVMS gobble up tremendous resources on your windows 10 PC too?
It takes for-ever to actually start (from cold).. I think it takes more than a minute on my i6700K 4Ghz 950 EVO m.2 machine too show me what that sound was in the garden?!?
And the software itself, are they not bugfixing this at all? Things like the crappy way to download events from a huge list, or the unreadable list of events on the right when replaying, it is just so tiresome to work through soooo much numbers to find an exact time and date, I am sure there are much nicer GUIs or better configurable towards different set-ups or end user needs? I think i could write a list of 50 points that could improve the software so much, but are they not evolving and bringing out new releases themselves?
