| Hi Andy, When I look in maintain settings of the NVR I see: V4.001.0000003.1, Build Date: 2020-08-13 , Is that what you need? In the Dahua site I see General_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000005.1.R.210713 As most recent FW for the NVR is this still the most recent version for NVR? I find for my cams: IPC-T5442T-ZE 4MP Starlight Ir Varifocale DH_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.840.0000000.11.R.211105 Are above firmware versions the correct ones? Or do I need another source? |

There is no smart IR, we are still testing on this version, if all good, will release it with smart IR, have to wait after Chinese new year, Feb will be released.
NVR4208-8P-4KS2/L Just use the dahua website one.

EMPIRETECANDY with the new firmwares I discover I am still missing a lot of the triggers in the email.
two people walking to the door with about 5 meters distance. First peron is already ringing at the door and invisible Only 2nd person on the picture at the location of the trigger line.
Also pictures of myself walking to the house which should have tripped 2 wires at few meters from the door but on the picture I am already opening the door.
on all mails the target is identified as human.
I am loosing way to many events with the IVS

Be sure you have properly configured "Global Setup" as per www.dahuawiki.com
Show us a picture of your IVS rules applied to the scene.
Unless you want to try the latest firmware, which you don't have, then this firmware performs the best for IVS.

After updatinng I get many Alerts without image and also many alaerts where nothing happens and the effective target is human.
It actually has nevenbeen this bad before
Not able to do this today. Maybe tomorrow or day ater. But need to be carefull to remember how I had all set befor becaus hat to do quite some testing to get mail etxc working.
The link to the DAHUA wili is nice but there is wat to much global info (22000 pages?).

I got the events and tripwires updated and they work some better. When I have 2 tripwires about 2 meters separated from each other only 1 gets triggered.
But most important question Can I automatic save a copy of a part of the tream around the event to my local NAS? I can crate FTP acces to it.
Reason is I do not want the complete streams to my NAS because of disk space, but I want to have a security copy around a trigger event

For NAS i have to check, not sure if can work good with NAS. You better send me a DM or email to follow this up.
I had it working but now suddenly I only get pictures and no clips anymore,
I now have in FTP selected:
Filesize 100M
Channels ALl
priod 1 00:00 - 24:00 and event checkbox set
Missed them because there where so many jpg files on the NAS from the NVR.
