Jamming

They are definitely ghost like. But ghost don’t steal things and... for the most part it’s perishable items if that makes sense, stuff like supplies. And cash. And coins.. coins as in old coins you find and hang onto. But I’m very conscious of what I have and have used… I’ve only lived here for two years but I swear the whole house was rigged for easy access. Hell there was a 220v and a water line under house just undone laying there, but it was aiming straight for the neighbors before it took a dive under the footer.
Inside job as in somebody I know? For the safes; I don’t share that info with anyone. And I live alone and I’m in my mid 30’s now so I don’t really have very many people over. But if your saying inside job as in the house is “bugged”that I’ve been wondering. The very little I’ve talked to the neighbors, they know too much; more than I have told them.

what kinda devices record what other devices have been here? I’ve been looking for something like that. Sometimes when connecting to an ip camera after resetting it and trying to bring it over to my networks; the ip camera discovers some strange networks. Always found that odd. They’re usually weak signals and disappear after a refresh cycle.

I’ve tried trail cams. They just get erased. Have a few nanny cams but they’re battery and honestly a pain in the ass. They die and need recharging after a day or so of being on motion detection. And they haven’t managed to capture anything of use. Or they do and get wiped. Had audio on one. It was hard to make out what they were saying. But set it aside to try to listen to more of it later and wouldn’t you know, pick it up a couple days later plug the micro sd in my phone and files been corrupted.

Man, these folks are good. Ever considered hiring them to critique your various network and home security issues so they can suggest methods to improve and fortify those areas? That's what the Feds do when they catch a hacker.
:wtf:
</end sarcasm>

More info on the safes… they’re smaller stackable ones, I have them bolted together and secured down inside a large cabinet and shelf deal. And I have security sensors the doors on of the cabinet… but they’re wireless… back to wireless= junk. They’re supposed to be encrypted signals back to the vivint panel. But they never go off. Or they showed history of being opened and I missed it.. a safe isn’t something I go into everyday I could be a few weeks before I go to get back in there. But the safes are cheaper like most of the camera systems… I filled the actual key holes with super glue a while ago due to spare keys going missing. So it’s only digital key pad. But still.. someone’s been in there again within a month ago, they always change my “master code”… every safe accepts 2 different key codes. The codes are random numbers that always stay on me tucked away in my wallet..

what about the Alfred thing? I'll have to look that up, I do have a couple old cellphones that still hold a charge.

If these guys are that good, why do they even bother with you? What do you have? Why aren't they whacking large diamond wholesalers?

Any progress reports?

and where around Cincy are you that far away from a Krogers?

pawn shops have cheap TVs, and can check for your stuff same time. But whatever state (of 3), check the pawn shops in the closest different state. The good thieves do that to sell it because petty theft reports don’t leave the state typically.

I just come back once a week to read these completely insane and bull shit replies. :lmao:

Appreciate all the low budget story telling because it’s something I can share to the other guys during a stressful day!

It’s been a while since some random person came on to the IPC forums spinning some kind of nonsense.

This is only eclipsed by some random person coming into the forum asking for help.

But, go out of their way to declare Im an Engineer like a fucking imbecile . . . :smash:

google “Gecko45” and “tactical wheelbarrow“ for some other amusing threads from other sites. I think there’s a few sites with cleaned up threads so you can follow the better parts easier…

Not as low budget as you ripping off a child’s fighting video game name to use as your user name. Mr. Teken. ? Never claimed to be an engineer. Only thing I said I did was cut some quick connectors out and wired directly; to prevent someone from plugging into an Ethernet line outside the house.
and I thought that was the point of a forum.. random people asking random people questions? Maybe I’m missing something here.
The “stories” are not made up. I wish they were. It sucks. I envy you; only in simple aspect of you haven’t had to deal with it.

and updates are… changed the door locks again.. new phone and router… basically same issues. I’ve been keeping as much as possible off the router. Not sure what else to do other than get a bunch of very territorial large dogs

The video game you refer to is spelled with two (K) : Tekken

My user name (Teken) has been in use by me for longer than 40 years. Which is much longer than the so called game ever existed!

As to your current issues of being hacked / broken into?!?!

Let me set aside for a moment that 0.000001% of this is remotely true?!?

Leave all your doors and windows open! Because it’s clear to me if 0.000001% you’re one of the most incompetent people on this planet!

Only second to all the flat earthers . . . :smash:

For sure, get some fierce dogs....yeah, that's the ticket!

lol yes that “helps” with shit getting stolen, but not the wireless/network problems. Could they be the so called deauth attacks causing things to go off line so much. I wouldn’t think that would change device passwords. Just loose the connection for 5 min or so unless they keep doing it over and over. I dunno I’m about done even attempting anything wireless. Seems to just be a waste of time. Maybe just wait till I can afford commercial grade networking stuff.

Every so often here and on other forums over the span of 20+ yrs I've seen multiple of these super sneaky burglars are breaking into my place repeatedly threads. Most ended with the conclusion that the person who posted said thread has some form of dementia, sleep walking, multiple personality disorder or otherwise needs some time in a psychiatric ward or maybe posting this type of thing is just some weird fetish.

In the event that what you describe or some version of it is actually happening, lets explore some possibilities / things you could do and note that you have already been given some good advice already (but have ignored or failed to comprehend it).
-Hide some air tags in items that are likely / easy to be stolen
-Hardwire quality cameras with ethernet cables to an NVR that's bolted down inside a locked room. Don't leave wires exposed, use conduit.
-Hardwire alarm sensors (not possible with Vivint), use EOLRs properly. Avoid leaving wires exposed.
-Install some hidden cameras inside the building. They make things like an alarm clock you plug in with a hidden camera that records to an sd card.
-Locks vary in quality, many aren't that secure. At least look for ANSI Grade 1 locks. NOTE: Most burglars enter through windows; make your windows more secure.
-Consider the possibility someone could have installed software on your computer granting them remote access. You should scan with malwarebytes and consider reinstalling windows and ensuring the computer is locked when not in use
-They could have stolen keys or programmed an extra garage door opener to grant easy recurring access. Reset the opener and reprogram the remotes.
-Don't hide keys anywhere or use lockboxes.
-Don't leave spare keys accessible anywhere that isn't secured.
-Professional burglars rarely hit the same place twice, if they do, they come back before people have a chance to harden security and might do things like use a stolen garage opener remote and stolen keys to steal your car or come back for a high dollar item they couldn't get the first time. Pros will toss the entire house and steal everything quickly the first time.
-You are not dealing with professional thieves, more likely an opportunistic drug addict (who can be fairly proficient burglars). I had a neighbor of this type who committed > 30 burglaries.
-"stackable safes" aren't safes they fire resistant boxes that a 10 year old could force open easily.
-Clean up overgrown vegetation
-Install fencing
-Pack rats, racoons, and even some birds like to steal shiny objects. I almost get the sense creatures as large as a racoon may be able to come and go from inside your property as they please. In which case you really need to improve your construction skills and address those issues.

This thread kind of also reminds me of a woman on ND who was convinced someone was breaking in and stealing her daughter's underwear repeatedly but was too arrogant to listen to any security advice or consider that her daughter may need / need different feminine hygiene products.

To expand a bit more on my experience with opportunistic drug dealer type burglars: They tend not to be as thorough, seem to find it fun/funny/entertaining (sometimes for the whole family). Rather than tossing the entire house, they may approach it more like they're browsing for things they want at a thrift store. They may do / or take some really weird things including odd acts of vandalism they find amusing like fecal matter wall art. They lock themselves out enough that they've learned a few tricks from locksmith's they have to call frequently. Before they became drug attics, they may have had some specific skills or knowledge they now apply to their criminal pursuits in unique ways.

Oh boy, JDAM's, ghosts, signal jammers and safe cracking

Time for me to read this thread properly

I like German Shepard Dogs, they will deal with the situation of anyone that comes in the yard, or
the another one takes very good care of the house.

Yes use Tile tags inside stuff that will get stolen, then track them to where they go, the police will
take care of it from there. You can double stick them inside almost anything.

Any updates again?

And I’m still curious of whereabout you can be that long a drive from a Krogers near Cincy….

I know it’s not Springfield, becaus that’s Dayton and past Middletucky.

So I can recently relate to most of your posted issues and not being able to catch these shit bags stealing from you.

I have been researching all kinds of i.p. and hack info for months now trying to figure out how my ex roommate ( who stayed for a very short time at my house) was able to avoid any detection whatsoever by my POE (yes, wired) cameras.

Long story short, I still haven't reached a 100 percent positive i.d. on the exact equipment and tactics he used to do the thefts at my place, but I believe ive narrowed it down to him using a "software defined radio" called "Hackrf one". He used this f*€king device to literally copy my key fob remote to my 2022 gmc sierra 2500 as well as copy my garage door remotes signal, finally avoiding all detection numerous times and many different dates. I'm currently at about 6 tto 7 thousand dollars loss of tools and shit, still counting, but hopefully tables turn and he's the one counting down seconds remaining before the state prison sends him the perfect gift via death by injection for his theft crimes. ( im only Dreaming of his perfectly deserved punishment for causing much harm to my life).

I'll be purchasing a hackrf one radio soon to attempt to replicate the jamming capabilities this thing has. Fyi, it can analyze Radio frequency signals from 1-20megahertz, copy the shit it "sees" and then transmit the recorded signal repeatedly.

I absolutely hate all this wireless tech because it's too easily defeated! Hope this helps. Get yourself one too and you can monitor all kinds of shit the badguy or anyone else is using on a radio frequency spectrum
