Last few weeks all recordings between 2am and 10am stopped

For some reason we just noticed on April 18th that all recordings only record from 10am to 2am the next day. So for some reason any motion between 2am and 10am are not being recorded saved.

Any ideas what would be causing this? Looking back it starting a April 18th at 2am was the last recording and the next was then at 10am, then then is the same to todays date with not recordings then.

Just updated to 4.7.4.1 we where on 4.7.4.0

**EDIT** Looks like its our DB compact/repair kicks off at 2am, looks like it doesnt finish until 10. Any recommendations on how to better fix this?

the database does not effect recording...check your profiles.

What if the database is 17gb? Looks like our storage profile was a little goofy.

While the database is rebuilding, recording will not happen.

From the BI help file:
When Compact or Repair/Regenerate is running, database updates must be suspended, so all camera recordings will be closed. If you have 24 hr mission critical recording, you can disable this automatic Compact and perform it manually at your convenience, however the database will continue to grow with deleted records during that time.
It is stupid, I know, but it is what it is. It isn't supposed to take 8 hours every night to complete, that's for sure.
