Been running this firmware for the past couple of hours on my NVR4108-P-4KS2. Upgraded over the top of the February firmware version and then defaulted the NVR after the update. Seems to be working well so far.

It seems that it has a bug when watching MD clips, the video gets stuck after a few seconds

I've just tested this firmware and I seem to be getting a similar issue as you when watching IVS clips via iDmss app. It seems viewing the playback "image" via the iDmss app doesn't play per frame by frame but the "Playback" works though. Have tried resetting all default and same results...have reverted back to the previous firmware and problem resolved ;).

@EMPIRETECANDY , After upgrading my DHI-NVR4108-4KS2 to this firmware System Version:V4.001.0000000.1, Build Date: 2020-03-19, and defaulting the settings afterwards, I don't see buttons for fast-forward playback anymore.
Is this a bug, or is the fast-forward button replaced/changed/moved in the V4.x GUI? (coming from a firmware with GUI v3.x?)

Hello folks, I was hoping someone can solve a little mystery for me. I installed this new firmware and I was browsing the settings and new features. I came across a screen which had a bunch of check box selections for what I think were alert settings. At the top of the screen was a selection for something like "mobile alert" or "mobile application". Something like that. Anyhow, for the life of me I cannot seem to find it again. Does anyone know what I'm referring to that could maybe point me in the right direction? Thank you!!

Some other dahua dealear website.
Probably does a better job than Andy updating their customers

@random101, I don’t have that problem - I can select the channels. Have you tried rebooting the NVR? Maybe default it if you haven’t already done so after the firmware update.

I only have one channel atm - but I have to push refresh and it’ll let me select the preset channel below. And then whether it’s the face, trip wire ect. Having said that I’ve set some ivs intrusion things. But they don’t seem to activate. I’m not sure if it’s because it doesn’t have the channel selected.

I might try a reboot

Are you setting the IVS in the camera's interface as opposed to the NVR? I have my five cameras connected to a Dahua PoE switch so I go into each camera's web interface and set up the IVS rules (Tripwire, Intrusion) along with the SMTP email options. I only set the recording schedule in the NVR. The IVS rules are then passed to my NVR.

No I was trying to do it through the nvr web interface.
Can you let me know how to set it through the camera?

@random101, How are your cameras connected? To a PoE switch or the NVR PoE ports at the back of the NVR? If they are connected to a PoE switch, open a web browser and type in the IP address of the camera. If connected to your NVR, you have to log into the NVR Via its web interface (go to its IP address in your browser) , go to the Camera Settings then Camera List, and click the blue Internet Explorer symbol next to the camera you want. If it is shown in the NVR as port 1, 2, 3, then I believe they are connected to your NVR. if you see port 37777, then they are possibly connected via a PoE switch as mine are. Once you are in your camera web interface, click on Settings. On the left click on Event. Click on Smart Plan and click the icon to turn it on. Click Save. Then Click IVS on the left menu and then add your rule type - intrusion or tripwire - by clicking the green plus sign. Draw out your rule on the image and save it. When I log into my NVR, I see the rule has been picked up and displayed for my channels. That is how I do it for my five cameras.
