Listen up people --- Florida is not a fully tamed State

Florida wildlife gone WILD!View attachment 197348
Reminds me of an old joke...

Roy Rogers said he was going to have Trigger stuffed and mounted when the famous horse passes on.
Dale Evans she said that BEFORE she passes on she would like to be mounted and stuffed.... :highfive:

Here's a crap bulls*it article:
Florida's property insurance rates have risen by 42.5% since 2019 over weather damage, report finds

They're first saying this is an extreme Florida thing. I wish my Oregon rate had gone up this much. Mine is up 158% over one less year, since 2020.

Then they matter-of-factly state "The report points out that as sea levels rise, more properties are put at risk. ", (CLIMATE CHANGE o_Oo_Oo_O) and
" ...insurance rates for property owners in the Sunshine State have increased exponentially over the past few years."

Calling 42.5% exponential indicates that the author(s) didn't graduate high school.

Actually it has gone up even more.

At last count FL property tax has increased 1347% and climbing. Home prices have tripled since January, and with the ocean rising some 3 1/2 feet this year alone, much of southern Florida is now underwater.

Crime is rampant as law enforcement has all but ceased in most major cities and especially bad in rural Central Florida counties. Reports of mass murder and cannibalism have become daily occurrences and visitors are warned to turn around at the GA/FL state line or proceed at their own risk. 911 has ceased working throughout most of the state.

In addition to the hyperinflation and rampant crime, the alligator population has exploded in recent months with disturbing reports of entire neighborhoods being eaten alive. Mosquitos have apparently been genetically altered to super sized flying death squads, and now hunt in large swarms carrying off unsuspecting tourists.

Since the National Guard was defeated in the Tampa area, the State government has pulled out and is currently hold up at Eglin AFB in the panhandle, with reports from FEMA that supplies are running thin and lines of cars trying to escape to Texas up to 25 miles long.

If you were planning that move to the sunny beaches or visiting Florida for that last minute Labor Day weekend vacation, there are still some lots for sale and AirBnB rentals in the Everglades, however officials warn that even Waffle House is closed for the first time since 1756 and no visitors have been reported as leaving since March.

It’s bad, don’t come here

Facts.

We've been planning our escape to NYC ever since Covid hit. With any luck we'll be out of this swamp wasteland by this time next year. Can't wait to be welcomed at the bus station in NYC and can't wait to get all that free shit they're handing out.

This is what a cold front pushing into Florida looks like. Per the graphic below it's gonna be "NICE". I always love it when the temps drop enticing me to light the fireplace to roast marshmallows. Bundle up my Florida friends!
