Live Video in Demo Version

Should live video work in the demo version?
It appears to work fine when accessing the camera via its web interface but but not in BI. In BI, it’s very choppy with a slow framerate.

if you hookup a bunch of cameras the frame rate may be lower in the demo...what is your cpu consumption?

Right at 30% with the first camera connected.

it should be ok with a single cam...direct to disk does not work in the demo so the cpu will be high...
post the camera info and your settings.

I know it's a budget camera but the direct web live feed from the camera seems good to me.
Just can't figure out why I'm not seeing the same results in BI.

And oddly enough, when I view the feed through BI Web Access, it appears fine.

You may not be pulling the incorrect stream... The cameras on web interface uses a different protocol...
