Live view from remote WAN

Hi guys, i have a problem. My internet line have 7Mbps of download and about 0,4mbps of upload. (Yes i live in italy.....internet speed is a problem)

I tried to connect from the outside of my network, i can connect with a browser on login web of ipcameras but i see only black screen into live view. If i connect with IVMS app for ios or android, when i'm on screen of live view i see the message "the connection to the server timed out" and i not see nothing.

I understand that the problem is the speed up, but there is no way to see at least the frame or a very slow video stream? I tried to set the

I tried with ipwebcam basic with rstp protocol and work it.

I don't understand why the app official (browser and IVMS) not work from outside...

well i changed mine from 192.168.0.99(default i believe) to 192.168.1.13 and it was doing weird things on remote so i changed to 192.168.1.99 and it worked.i also tried 192.168.1.98 and that worked too.try this.some user on here told me to do this and it worked for me.get tinycam monitor for android.add your huisun cam on local first.then check the advanced settings in network to see if everything is good.

Have you checked your port against canyouseeme.org to ensure it's open?

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. In the next days i will try it. However my port is open and work: from outside, i see the menù login for browser of huisun, and after i logged i see only black screen...with ivms app if i click on live view of this camera, i receive response "he connection to the server timed out" and the creen remain black.

I tryed with other app for android and work it, but the speed is not good as it was known....

yes yes is open. The port is not the problem. I think the problem is that the plugin web of camera and the IVMS app are setted for work with speed more up of mine....I was hoping to see at least the low-speed frames

remember that the hikvision app uses the media port not the rtsp port..make sure the media port is forwarded..

No idea, on hikvision it is.

it's 8000 although it is a hidden port. You can see it and change it in IVMS-4200.

I think he's asking the default port for huisun cam.in cam web settings look under network tab.server port should show port #

Hi, i check with IVMS and the device port is 8000 for huisun. With IVMS app, i can connect with to hikvision camera from internet (wan connection), but with huisun the same parameters and same app i can't see nothing. What it is the problem ?

Anyone use IVMS from internet for huisun cameras ?

I also tried it now, but it does not work. The message: "connection failed".

Before, i did a double-forwarding, in 2224 on 8000, and did not function. Now i opened directly port 8000, but the problem remained.


What i can test ?

P.S: from internal of my LAN the huisun, with 8000 port work fine.

Guys please do you have any idea? What other tests do I do?

My hikvision work fine with 8000 port from internet WAN and LAN. My huisun can login in with 8000 port from internet WAN but 1 second go out "connection failed" message. If i use 8000 port of my huisun to LAN work fine.

Please help me.

Guys i discovered that the problem is timed out with huisun. My adsl internet connection is 480 kbps of upload. With this, the huisun camera work with 8000 port from LAN, but the huisun camera not work from WAN with this port. I must to use rtsp port for wan connection.

I understand that my connection upload is not good but i don't understand the engeneer of huisun have done this limit on huisun.
