I currently have 6 IPC-HDW4233C-A, 1 DH-SD22204T-GN and 1 IPC-HDW5231R-Z. They are all working fine, but I was looking to upgrade them. Having good night vision is a big plus (so I would prefer something similar to / or better than starlights). I have been lost for the past 4 years so I don't know what's new / would be considered an upgrade to these models, while still remaining budget conscious (probably keeping it below $600-800).

The current goto cameras are 4MP with a 1/1.8 sensor
1) More megapixel is not necessarily better.
2) Do not use reolink, ring, nest, Arlo, Vivint cameras (they are junk), absolutely no cloud cameras
3) Camera Sensor size, bigger is general better Sensor Size Chart
4) Camera lens size, a bigger number give more range but less field of view. Which Security Camera Lens Size Should I Buy?
5) Use Dahua starlight cameras or Hikvision darkfighter cameras if you need good low light cameras.
