Fastb Known around here Feb 9, 2016 1,310 929 Seattle, Wa Oct 13, 2016 #24 JBrit1234, Welcome to the forum. You say "But 3 cams would basically require cable wrapped around the outside of the home. 2 to 2.5 stories high." Let me toss out an idea. Go low. Wrap around the house at ground level, then ascend. You can bury Cat cable if you protect it. Flexible piping for landscape sprinklers is an inexpensive option. Such as http://www.homedepot.com/p/DIG-1-2-in-x-500-ft-Poly-Drip-Tubing-B37/100163329 The piping will protect the cable from a spade or shovel while doing gardening. WiFi cameras, which are a very last resort, still require a cable. (for power) Just a thought. Fastb
