Looking to learn about ONVIF

Hello everyone, as I scour the net trying to come up with solutions to my surveillance issues, I keep coming back to this site, and so.... I signed up and wow, what wealth of resources. Looking to connect with people familiar with onvif and gain some insight on how to locate onvif stream url's from cameras with little to no documentation. Also trying to learn about wsdl files and how they interact with WSDL files as this whole system is a mystery to me!

Use ONVIF Device Manager. Onvif Device Manager v2.2.250

It will find ONVIF devices on the same IP segment automatically.
It will need some valid credentials, top left of the window, to fully query the devices.

Thanks for this Alastair, unfortunatley I'm running MacOS, i've tried to open this program with Wine before but to no avail.
