Image Sensor 4K (8MP) 1/2.8" CMOS
Sensor is consider rather small by ipcamtalk community standards for a 8MP resolution camera

with 4 cameras = $1249, with 8 cameras $1999 => thus $750 for 4 more cameras .. or about $187 per camera .. with 25% off .. about $140 ..
as these are smaller sensor cameras, I would look to see what Andy can help you out with - believe you can find nicer larger sensor models from him for not much more iirc.

Oh yeah, the back of that NVR says a lot. It's a Dahua model alright, but don't expect to flash Dahua firmware so soon

maybe I need to do some digging into that. Not sure what that means.

Honestly that was what I was going to do. I’m just worried about pulling the trigger with this stuff going on. I would hope it wouldn’t affect lorex

Usually, you can flash the original Dahua firmware on these rebranded Dahua products. However, there could be at times in which the rebrand prevents the end user like me and you from using original Dahua firmware thus limiting you to using older firmware. Although, newer firmware is not always better it can bring improvements (i.e. stability fixes). I do suggest buying your cameras from Andy as you will get trouble-free support for two years

Just wanted to add a thumbs up for Andy.

When you flash firmware to update a NVR, or camera for instance to the latest software, it is very possible to brick your item rendering it difficult (or worse) to recover, basically a fatal crash. This is most likely to occur when you are mixing and matching; like grey market goods.
