LPR with ONVIF

Years ago I had the opportunity to test out an LTS LPR camera. Each license plate it detected was conveyed via an ONVIF event (much like any motion event). This was great.

A year-or-so ago I purchased (and subsequently returned) a more affordable Dahua LPR camera, expecting similar behavior. After agonizing over it for a while, I got word back from the seller that no such ONVIF support existed.

Beyond LTS, what other LPR cameras exist that support pushing an ONVIF event when a license plate is detected?

The way the LTS LPR camera worked, the license plate events were just like normal motion events (with the license plate info): the ONVIF client app could subscribe to the events and receive LPR events just like any other ONVIF camera motion event. Each LPR event included the license plate string. That's what I'm looking for. Let me know if that answers your question.
