I have an LTS NVR hooked up to two LTS cameras. I naively bought a Dahau camera, assuming that it would connect to the NVR quickly and easily. Although I'm tech savvy, I'm relatively new with IP cameras.

I thought I could point the NVR to the camera's IP address and change the protocol to ONVIF, but am having difficulty getting them to work together.

Is anyone able to assist?
Thank you.

I did exactly this same thing a couple of years ago. It wasn't all that difficult and the video worked fine. Nothing else, such as motion detection, worked. I've heard that's hit-and-miss depending on firmware versions. Unfortunately I don't remember any details of what I did, so I can only offer encouragement that it "should" work for you. There's a camera onvif setting under network/connection. Maybe that makes a difference.

I tried the ONIVF protocol, but haven't been able to get it working. At this point, I dont know if the issue is with the ONIVF settings or if I need to adjust IP address, default gateways, and DNS??
