I have my outdoor cams installed and working great. I was wondering what people do to weatherproof these. Mine are somewhat protected by an overhang, but still have the 3/4" hole behind the cam I used to run the cable. Do people caulk around the base of the cam to prevent bugs and water from going between the house and camera?

The turret style camera are already ip66 compliant. All you need to do is weather proof the connection with coax seal/box as you would any other camera style.

I think the question was more how do you seal the hole through the wall. I suppose foam outlet gaskets could work too.
