I have been interested in picking up something like this.

So far I am very happy with my two 10x V1s. Would you recommend this camera?
 
I really wish they would come out with a 10x that is a 3-30mm variant. It seems to me that that would hit the sweet spot for a residential surveillance PTZ. (Of course a 20x 3-60mm would be even better) :)

Only $140 shipped? That is cheaper than V1, right?
 
This morning I ordered one that has the link in the first post of this thread. Cost was $136.43 with shipping. The 10x V1 cost me $177 total - but that was with DHL shipping

You know, if it wasn't for Hikvision playing their silly ass games, I would have bought another Hik - but F**k them
 
I think the wide angle version will work better for my front door. Zoom would not be that useful for me, but P and T are. Time to order one now.

This one might work better than the 10x for me. Are there any examples of what the FOV and zoom looks like for this version?

Depends on your porch and how obvious you want your camera. I have 10x version as my porch cam, 3x wide version I use on the back patio

It's not apples to apples with Enster.

Enster
IMX222
2x IR leds (IR rating 40 meters)
Plastic construction

Mini PTZ v2:
IMX322
4x IR leds (IR rating 50 meters)
Metal construction

In other words better IQ. Also to me the main advantage of Huisun/Imporx it uses Hikvision protocols. Enster would be more comparable to v1 with IMX222

I just tried to order this camera from Aliexpress, after adding it in shopping cart then I clicked on Place Order but nothing happens. It just sit there and not go to the payment page.

I have ordered AliExpress several times before and had no issues.. I wonder if it my end or their server end.

Anyone experienced this issue before? Is there a fix or new trick to it?

Any chance you were using Chrome when you tried this. I bought a new camera yesterday on Aliexpress but I couldn't get to the login screen in Chrome. I ended up using Firefox to complete the order. I have no idea what happened. Might be worth a try.
