Missing motion triggers sometimes

I have noticed it as well from 5.4.8.X on having issues with showing it triggering yet an alert isn't showing up.

If you are not running DS, then rollback to an earlier version?

It is not uncommon for people to get to a stable version for their system and setup and leave it there. No real reason to update it unless you want to use a new feature that was added.

I just rolled back to 5.4.8.2 due to having this issue. It seemed to start over night, on just a couple of cams.

I’m also on 5.4.8.2 as the 5.4.9.x releases to date result in some of cams triggering but not raising an alert or recording the event.

I found that after rolling back to 5.4.8.2, I had to reconfigure a couple of the cams motion detection in BI to get them to work even after rolling back.

Not had to do that but since you mention it I’m now going to check all the cams just to make sure.
