Mobile App Motion Alert Notifications on Android 9 Pie

Curious whether anyone else is seeing this same issue - I'm currently not getting any motion alert notifications on my Pixel 2 XL, despite being on the latest update. Update even says it includes a fix for Android 9 notifications, and everything in the BI software on my computer is setup as it always has been. I've also confirmed the mobile device is showing up in Settings > mobile devices and checked for notifications there.

Finally, if I go to the camera properties > alerts > configure and then test it only says "sent notification to 1 device" (this should be two as that 1 device is my wife's phone - the other one that appears in settings > mobile devices). Is anyone else seeing a similar issue? I'm wracking my brain trying to understand why the BI console sees my mobile device and all settings are checked, but refuses to send it notifications.

Ok, thanks for the prompt reply! I've been looking all over and have seen many issues reported, but nothing that sounded exactly like what I was seeing. Regardless, I'll continue to wait for an update. Thanks!
