Motion Sensing and Triggering

I'm in the process of configuring my Blue Iris to do motion sensing in conjunction with my Vera. So far the sensing is spotty, perhaps 20 pct of cases does it trigger on motion.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a strategy for configuring object size and contrast settings, approaches for day/night, daylight and artificial light?

@ClipperMiami Issues with motion not triggering is almost always related to the selection of "object detect/reject"..uncheck it.
Also make sure you have it set to color and brightness..not just one of them.

Thanks, I'll give that a try and see if it improves the detection rate
