Mozilla and Blue Iris

I am sure this has been addressed but I couldn't find the answer.
In order to get sound on bI is it possible to use Mozilla or do I have to
use IE to open up the program. I Get No Sound, I have tried to use only
Mozilla as it is more comfortable for me to use. I am new to cameras but
have six up and running on acer laptop with windows 7. Any help would be
appreciated.

I have newest version 4 and six new Foscam cameras. By the way. does Foscam have the mic built in and a speaker built in????

When using the blue iris software on the machine its installed on, Mozilla and IE are irrelevant-you are not using the browser...make sure audio is enabled in blue iris for each camera.
Some foscams have built it mics and speakers it depends on the models...
What model foscams do you have?
Foscams are low end cameras and there are better choices out there that produce better quality images and are more reliable.

Two have been returned and replaced. Now I have six good cameras.
(seem to be reliable and picture quality is very clear- I must have lucked out .)

Living in Florida, we are more likely to use our 9mm, 380, 22, or 20gauge to "really get a handle on what's happening around the house LOL.
The cameras for me are just a toy. What choices are better for future use.
I will check on the web and see if my models have the built in features you indicated.

Hikvision and dahua are great choices, depending on the model of foscam, they can be had for the same price or less. If you have never seen a 1080p camera then anything will look clear...also keep in mind that you need to test a moving image not just stills..big difference. The fact that you had to return two out of six for replacement says it all.
Watch this in full screen and dont forget to change the resolution to 1440p
