Nanny cam

Hello Hikvision fans/experts!
I'm looking for a recommendation for a network camera to be used as a nanny cam.
It needs to cover our living room and needs to have a microphone (preferably a good one). Also needs to have an option for local storage for recording since I don't want to have to set up any servers, etc.
I was thinking of perhaps getting one of their dome cameras, but not sure which would be a good fit.
Any help/recommendation would be greatly appreciated!
 
The only hikvision dome camera with a built in mic is the 2532IS (note some china versions were having mic issues)...buy from a reputable seller.it also has an sd card slot...its a mini dome
Another option is the 2432 cube camera with a built in mic and speaker which i believe you already own.
Get the 2.8mm lens and you should be able to cover almost any room.
This is a 2mp version of the 2432 and is on sale for 100...has the 2.8mm lens..comes with 5.2.0 firmware...I got mine today and its exactly like the 2432 in 2mp mode...

I am using several 2432ISW as nanny/baby cams at home for over a year. They have been performing flawlessly. I also have dome 2532ISW which I mounted outside, it's too bulky for home use and IRs are not as good as on 2432ISW. 2432ISW has much better mic and it's cheaper.

Bottom line if it's for indoor use then 2432ISW (or 2431ISW) is what you want with 2.8mm lens For the price, quality and reliability I doubt you'll find anything better. The only caveat with Hikvision cameras if you buy them from China you'll need to deal with their protection when you want to upgrade firmware, but there are workarounds temporary and permanent.

Ok guys, sounds like I just need to order another 2432 then :)
I'm already very happy with the one that I own, I just figured maybe for a bigger room I need something with PTZ.
