asking for a friend. need to be NDAA, trying to see what else maybe cheaper out there that we are not aware of, current options are running 700+

Doesn't need ANPR function,

scene 1 - about 60ft 15 degree H-FOV. almost head on

scene 2 - about 130ft, about 8 degree H-FOV. typical car passing by on the street from the house type about 40degree horz off-axis

Aw, just give it some time....the Biden Administration will rescind NDAA 2019 and restrictions against those Chinese companies listed in the bill will again be allowed to be purchased by the Federal Government.

I hope not but that's just my gut feeling based on what's been happening since Jan. 20th of this year. :(

To answer your question and NOT turn this thread into a political discussion, I can say that so far the current administration has made MANY concessions and deletions of existing policies put into place by the previous administration, some of which have had great impact and some of which will likely have a profound negative impact on our nation as time goes by, IMO.

Nay, there has been no significant concessions since, dont think there will be, NDAA will stay.
Trump has shown it can be done and did it.
Having tasted the new bully blood, its going to be difficult to be waned off.

BTW, I am not a Chinese citizen, never has been.
Did grad work in good ole USA.
Now an ANPR specialist.

Last I heard and I don't think it is related to NDAA was the EO on Tiktok and WeChat is being revoked, so yes some are related to China. I'm not saying this is good or bad either way, just answering your question
yes but replaced with some other framework.

" Last week, Biden signed a separate order expanding a Trump-era ban on American investment in Chinese companies with alleged ties to China’s military. The order laid out 59 companies barred from investment, including those that create and deploy surveillance technology used against Muslim minorities and government dissidents in Hong Kong. "
