Hi everybody!
I'm looking for a quality 8 or 16 Channel PoE NVR w/MJPEG Streaming. I need to be able to stream to the iOS Safari browser with a simple HTTP URL - it CANNOT require a plug-in.
A decent mobile app for watching recordings would be a nice bonus.
I wouldn't mind a recommendation for corresponding outdoor PoE bullet cameras either! I have been looking at Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I 4MP cameras just because it supported MJPEG, but I assume if I'm streaming from an NVR URL, it doesn't matter whether the camera supports MJPEG directly or not.
My intent is to use this setup with ActionTiles (a pretty front-end for SmartThings home automation that permits live video of MJPEG streams). Learn more about ActionTiles here.
