I am looking for outdoor, poe, preferably wdr, ip cameras for a farm. I also would prefer the cameras support local recording via SD cards to eliminate a need for a DVR. The less moving parts in the system the easier it will be for me to support.
I have deployed two systems using Samsung Smartcams and I am happy with the results but the biggest site only uses 6 cameras hard wired to a POE switch. This system may go as high as 16 cameras and the cost of the Samsung cameras are unattractive. I also do not need wifi built into the cameras as I will be wiring to a POE switch.
I would appreciate any help.
