Remote setup. No internet so wireless/networking etc... not needed.

Currently have:
1 2032 (3 more after getting first up)
1 TP Link 8 port POE switch
1 4TB hd
HikVision 4200 software

Need nvr suggestions. Setup needs to record, motion only, for a minimum of 5-6 days. Really don't need a fancy/complex/expensive device. Low power consumption a plus. Want to easily be able to plug in laptop when I arrive to view past weeks video.
I'm usually at location every weekend.

Thanks
Tom

Cheapest method can work out quite expensive, so as your going for the 2032 cameras... I'd suggest a 4 port Hikvision NVR.

Something like this? Hikvision - DS-7604NI-SE/P - Nvr 4ch 4-poe.

How much hd do I really need for a weeks worth of motion recording?

Yep :) or the bit cheaper 78 series

Depends on the size of the areas and how much motion is going on, also the pre and post event record times... lol

However.... 1TB could be way more than enough, so maybe 500G ?

Hard drives a really cheap...just get a 3 or 4 terabyte WD purple drive and be done with it..would be a shame to miss footage to save a few dollars on a drive.
