I have 3 Dahua IP cams that are conected over a 35m cabel to my router. They worked perfectly and then they just disapeared on my network. No signs of video quality or video loss just disconected. Then i somehow got into them by pluging the directly into my laptop and lowering the bitrate. That seast to fix them for 10 months they worked. And yesterday that happend again and I tried the same thing but cant connect to the at all. They are all on static IP. Dont know what to do next. I can see the network light light up and blink but cant access then or see them on the network.

Connect a camera directly to your computer (need a POE injector or a 12V supply). Use a network scanner such a Fing to see if it can be discovered. If the network scanner can’t discover it the try another camera. If it is discovered try it connected to router and use network scanner to see if it is discoverable.

What model cameras ?

Do not connect your cameras to a router. Connect them to a POE switch. The POE switch needs a UPS. Any power fluctuation
will cause cameras to drop of line.

What are you using to view your cameras? Are you using port forwarding in the router?

Read the cliff notes and other items in the wiki. The wiki is in the blue bar at the top of the page.

Thanks for the help guys.
But my problen kinda fixed it self. I unpluged my cameras ethernet cable while i was at work and pluged it back in when I was home. That didnt fix them but the next morning they appeared on my network and they work fine now.
I have that cheap ISP router that you cant expect much from it.
Im not port forwarding and cameras are on a poe switch.
Dont know what caused the promblem and how i fixed it.
Thank for the replyes guys
