Need help on DVR

I have a 16 channel Karbontech hd-sdi dvr and ive tried resetting the dvr and it just stays on the home screen and only says Karbontech. I tried disconnecting the hard drive and nothing I went ahead and purchased a new hard drive and still the same screen. What are my options and what can I do to resolve this issue? I attached a photo to show the screen it stays stuck on. Thanks

That is a re-branded device, more tan likely a Dahua or Hikvision.

Are you using it as a DVR or an NVR ? Are the cables COAX or ethernet/RJ45. Provide a picture of the front and back of the device ?
Also are there an MAKE / model numbers or information off of the cameras ?
