I have Zmodo ZP-KE1H04-S NVR sPoE Security System with 4 HD 720P.

I have ZSight on tablet. Zviewer on PC (both are on same network). I can see the cameras on them at home fine.

I tried to port forwarding on my router so I can see them on net from remote access (work/away). The instruction seemed pretty straight forward but when tested: it said Closed.

Any recommend where to look at?. Thanks

I have router TP-Link running OpenWR

ISP: Time Waner Cable, Motorola modem.

Welcome to the forum...post screenshots of your port forward settings -both in your router and from the zmodo interface.

You need to change the web port on the dvr to 8080 as well...
Disable upnp

Disable UPNP in router and Zmodo?

Edit: Tried 8080 after changed on NVR, no luck

Tried 80 after changed on both, still no luck.

Have you tried logging in from a remote location or with your cell phone on cellular data?

I did and no luck.

One thing though, I typed :80 after the external IP address: http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx:80, but when I hit enter, the :80 disappeared. Is it supposed to be like that?

80 is the port by default so it disappears...as stated earlier you need to change the port to 8585 and the type :8585
Dont use port 80, its blocked by many isp's

Tried on 8585 and no luck.

I even go to control panel - window firewall - inbound rule and set new rules but still no.

Did you make the proper changes in the router port forward settings to reflect the new port?
