Hi all,

where can i get a new cable for a
Hikvision DS-2CD2185FWD-IS(2.8mm)

Any thoughts on yur side ? - Of course i could fix the cable myself - but would prefer to change it completly.

Assuming you're talking about the entire pigtail from RJ-45 to pins for the internal boards, lots to chose from here, 9 pin and 11 pin ==>> aliexpress ip camera pigtails

One 'gotcha' though will likely be that as Hikvision have moved to using the latching-style of connector (sorry but I forget it's designation) on the PCB, the JST pins on the usual cables sourced from Aliexpress are going to be different and no longer compatible.
So some careful searching will be needed to find a suitable replacement cable - or a cut-and-join job instead.

Beware, replacing cable is harder than fixing it. I takes me around 20 min to repair cable just to attach rj45 on top of broken cable or connector. But replacing entire cable gives me headache when dealing with ip65 sealing on the back of camera.
