Hi,
So current I have Foscam camera that "catch" all my front yard,
I think it's not enough to see all the yard, and also want to replace it to Hikvision camera,
I've attached images with:
1. The current Foscam camera place
2. The new camera place that I want to move (when I will install the new Hikvision)
3. Another place of camera

The idea is to split the yard to 2 cameras.
The 2 new Hikvision cameras that I thought to put is DS-2CD2335FWD-I with 6mm lens.

Let me know what you think please.

chaoscript,

Use a test rig to determine the best locations, based on you looking at the FOV from the cam.
Also consider lens size. Maybe get a varifocal, so you can dial in the FOV that works best.
Check the camera calculator web site (link in threads below)

There's lot of info here, waiting for you to research. Basic questions have been asked and answered before, and active & knowledgable members get weary of answering them over and over. But they're more than willing to help w/ specific non-basic questions. That's just how things seem to work out here...

Where to install turret camera I'm about to purchase?
Best location for Camera
Advice appreciated
