Neighborhood Drug House -- Would You Post Videos On The Internet?

I'm building an impressive collection of drug transaction videos. So far I'm getting replies on what to do with them, such as:

1. Call the police.
2. Don't call the police.
3. I don't trust the police.
4. Post the videos.
5. Don't post the videos.
6. You're going to get shot.

What do I think? I don't trust the local police department and I'm stuck on the fence about posting the videos. :idk:
Organize a peaceful neighborhood protest, which seems to be the rage now a days. Stay on the sidewalk and march in front of the house. Get professional signs made like the Left does. See if they will pay for them :)

Sorry, I don't mean to make fun of this, I have been there. Our old neighborhood was full of drugs deals. Day and Night. We finally moved.

Parties would go all night long, loud music. Next door neighbor would party way past midnight with their young kids yelling all night long. Had a neighbor on the other side of them call the cops once. After that we found dirty diapers (twice) in our mailbox, they thought it was the white people that called the cops. There was only a few white families left in the neighborhood when we sold. We should of moved way before we did. My wife would come home from work with the other neighbor next door would have about half a dozen guys out in the front yard drinking and gawking at her, I found out later. She never told me about it. I am sure I would of done something stupid and ended up in jail if I knew.

One thing I can say is they look like young kids. If they are renting it will only be a matter of time before they get caught or move.

I would still find out the owners name though and alert HOA. I would not share video, you could show them but I would not give it to them for them to post.

I agree with Tony...I would not risk harm to your family.

^^^

Now thinking about it if your HOA was like ours, then I bet some of the members were buying drugs from them. Our HOA in our 30 year old neighborhood did nothing to maintain their laws, we would have 8-10 cars parked at houses, in the street, in the yard. That was when we sold, when we bought 20 years prior it was a nice neighborhood. Should of taken note of everyone moving out, I was young, my first house...

Again, ask yourself what do you expect to gain from posting the videos? How will that help your situation.

What are the downsides of posting? Do the cons outweigh the pros? I bet that they do.

happenings immediately near the front of your house.
I could post a few pictures of a string from the top of my closet in the master bedroom to the hole in the window that shows pretty close to where the shot came from.

This after my neighboor asked if i'd look on my cameras for his truck break-in. I found 3 young punks with hoodies and covid masks going door to door seeing which vehicle was unlocked.

The following Day - The house 3 doors down from my neighboor had one young man walk to the point that my driveway cam was obvious, and turned around. My neighboor said loud enough for him to hear, that's who it was with his buddies.....a few nights latter about 12 automatic pistol shoths were fired. I was sound asleep. I woke up and found my window had a bullet hole thru the aluminum at the top that holds the double panes.
I called the police. I only wish i didnt have an 8 meg pix cam with a tiny sensor, but it did show part of DORI. - from the neighboors break-in a night before.

The lady with the best view had a ring cam and nothing ever triggered it or she doesnt record 24hrs.

The police gave me a card with a number on it. Never went further than that. It's been a couple of years.

I bought 3, 5443's that were used and 1 never worked, the other quit working after about 6 months. still mad at myself for that purchase. Buy new from reputable seller...and if your video is good enough to identify go to the police. They may help.

No i had no cam view of the area where the shots were fired from. and many trees between.

JMHO
