New 16 camera replacement NVR for old lorex

We want to add a few more cameras to our current 8 camera Lorex system. We have a combination of the 6 lorex cameras that came with the system (4K) and they dahua starlights that were highly recommended at the time we bought this system. What is the best replacement nvr that you all would recommend that we replace this one with.

No recommendation.

But the number of cameras supported is not the primary issue. It is the amount of data. Pay very close attention to the inbound and outbound band width. Calculate your band width.

Just because an NVR supplier said they support 16 cameras and support 4MP cameras. Does NOT mean that they support 16 4MP cameras at 30 FPS or even 15 FPS.

For interoperability try to stick with the manufacture of your cameras for your NVR

I guess I should have said that I would like a recommendation for either a Lorex or Dahua NVR since that is what my cameras are.
