LED flood lights are relatively inexpensive to buy and pretty inexpensive to run. A 30 watt LED flood equals out to about 200 watts of halogen or 300+ watts incandescent. If you have enough ambient light, streetlights, etc, the Dahua Starvis series will provide a color picture at midnight.

@pland note with the Dahua OEM 2MP starlight cameras you do not need a lot of ambient light to keep them in color mode, this is very good news as some neighbors may complain if your lighting is too bright.
