Comparing the spec lists of the (cheaper?) IPC-HDW2231R-ZS with IPC-HDW5231R-ZE,
2231 lacks:
* audio support (5231 has a built-in mic)
* auto iris
* 60 FPS capability (30 FPS only)
* 1080p substream (D1 only)
2231 also has different listed FOVs ... wider horizontally and narrower vertically ... don't ask me how. It also lists slightly higher maximum bit rates than the 5231, but not enough to be significant.
