New IPC-Color4K-T-2.8 From Empire Tech shows Initilized out of the Box

Hi @Bad Packet sorry for the trouble
do you have any pics of the camera, we have some dirty people return camera with some cheap camera and label with our 4KT, make them in very good condition, amazon not check carefully and put back to sell.
The UI and cable pigitail should be the same like this.
Please return it as defective. Thanks a lot.

The second camera I got looks like your photos, pigtail and all. The first one, well, here are some photos. It looks like the corners of the silver sticker are dog-eared, and it looks like it was lifted and replaced. The one photo of the mounting ring: it's not actually that yellow; I adjusted so that the Lorex logo was more readily visible. It's nearly invisible to the casual glance.

The paper tape on the box is interesting as well.

The actual MAC address of the camera in the box is 00:1f:54:51:77:01.

Yes, that is the trick, the right camera has a neck at this part, not as fat as the lorex one.

Maybe the trick is they put seal on package and amazon think it was unopened. original doesnt have seal but they dont know

But to my knowledge the white LPN sticker means it is a return by someone else, "used" return articles have yellow sticker.

Maybe number is unique so amazon knows who returned the camera in first place.

Do you think it’s the same person doing this going through their cams trying upgrade for free?

Hope Amazon actually do something about and help to catch the scum bag!

Another easy way to check , is to check their SN No. on the box and the SN on the system information.
