Hello all, I have read through the cliff notes and ordered everything I need (PC for BI, PoE Switch, Cat5 cable, HD's etc.). The only thing I have left to order are the cameras. I will be ordering Dahuas from Andy as from what I can tell they have a very good price to performance ratio.
The first two camera installations I will be doing will be to look over my front door/patio and my back sliding door and patio. (See photos)
I was thinking IPC-HDW5231R-ZE for both of these locations. Was going to mount them either to the underside of the patio overhand or just above the doors on the wall itself.
My questions:
Would this be a good camera for this purpose/locations or would you recommend something else?
For these Dahua cameras, do I need to order one of the mounts listed on the cliff notes or can they be mounted by themselves?
